Mornings and motivation

My friend Leanne posted a video on her talking about motivation and it inspired me to write this post. So watch her video and subscibe to her channel (http://www.youtube.com/user/Leanneeb19 ) 

So in the morning I have to set three alarms for me to wake up and stay awake,yeah I'm that lazy I will fall back sleep, I set them for 6:30 6:45 and 7am. I normally wake up at the first one and stay awake. So once I am awake I will check my phone for any messages and then reply to them. I will then scroll through Facebook Twitter and Instagram. 

I then sit in bed thinking about what is happening that day: what lessons I have, friends I will talk to even the music I will listen to at the bus stop and on the bus. I will then get on with my morning routine. 

Some days I won't want to get out of bed all I want to do is stay in bed and do nothing at all. But I then sit and think about things I will do that day and then what I will do when I get home from school and I will hade something to look forward to after school. So whenever you have that day of not wanting to get out of bed and face the day, just sit for a few moments and think of everything you will do that day and then set yourself something to look forward to. 

So once I'm ready for school I will plug my head phones into my phone and listen to my favorite song/album/artist and I will have it on repeat all day and I will just listen to that when i listen to music that day. 

When I get to school and I'm still feeling down and not wanting to be there or get involved with anything just wanting to got home and hide in bed. I will go over to the table of my friends and join in with the conversation they are having and i find myself having a laugh and getting involved and more importantly wanting to be at school! 

Now the school I go to when your in 16+ doing alevels you get free periods, in these you can do homework or talk to friends. So in my frees when I'm feeling down I will go over to my friends in my frees and I will join in the conversation and 9/10 times at the end of that hour I will be feeling so much happier because I've been laughing and enjoying myself. But that 1/10 time I will be still feeling down so I will message my sister and talk to her about what is making me feel sad and then we will talk about it and I will feel happier as it is a weight off my shoulder to talk to someone about it. 

So when your feeling down please remember to:
- think of everything that you will do that day 
- set yourself something to look forward to 
- listen to your favorite song 
- get involved and have a laugh 
- talk to someone you trust 
- talk to friends 

And remember what ever it is that is making you feel sad or down it will get better we have all been there and it does get better it might not be today or tomorrow but no matter what is bothering you it will one day just disappear and it won't worry you anymore!

Fifty facts about me

I've decided to do the fifty facts about me post as I enjoy watching these videos on YouTube and reading the posts on blogs. So here we go 

1- I am in year 12 doing my alevels 
2- I love having the days when you can't be bothered to get changed out of your pjs so you spend the day in them
3- I have been to summer in the city once and I loved it some much I hope go one next year 
4- In 2011 my mum, grandma grandad and I all went to Canada for 2 weeks. We went to loon lake for 10 day and I fell in love with that place it is so nice, beautiful and peaceful. And then we went to Toronto for the remaining 4 days and we visit niagra falls, the CN tower and canada air center 
5- I have a big family to the point were I can't remember everyone 
6- I love getting dressed up for things like family dinners 
7- At the same time i love lounging round in jogging bottoms or leggings and a baggy top
8- The cheer team are like my second family 
9- I turn 17 on January 25 so this means I can learn how to drive 
10- I am both scared and excited to learn how to drive 
11- I have only been to four countries. I have been to Canada Spain France and Germany
12- Some of the best places I have visited are: Loon Lake, Scarborough, Isle of Wight and Brighton 
13- I have to have my finger nails painted other wise my nails will just brake 
14- To get up for school in the morning I have to set 3 alarms 
15- When I am cold I stay cold for ages 
16- When I was younger I was a sporty child I did: gymnastics, swimming and running 
17- laying in bed at night cuddled up with a blanket watching a film and falling sleep is one of the best things ever 
18- I have 3 half sisters. 1 older and 2 younger 
19- I am short sighted meaning to see the board in lessons I have wear glasses 
20- I don't like tea 
21- I don't tan I burn meaning I have to wear SPF 30 
22- I love the summer season as I love wearing shorts and attempting to tan 
23- I also love winter as you get to wear inca and warm jumpers 
24- I love visiting zoos. Banham zoo is amazing as the first time we went there, we went to the tiger enclosure to see the tigers and there are like glass walls so you can see inside and the tiger walked straight past us it was just amazing 
25- I try to stay organised but then it ends up failing 
26- I procrastinate a lot. A lot a lot 
27- I like to write lists 
28- I enjoy getting new stationary
29- I get scared easily. The film water horse scared me so much I had to turn it off and it's a pg rated film 
30- I'm a lazy texter, so if you get a quick reply you are lucky 
31- I love photography
32- My favourite type of film to watch is fantasy 
33- Reading books offers me an escape from reality 
34- I have been to 3 cheerleading competitions and I love them 
35- wasps bees and moths scare me so much 
36- I'm a chocoholic 
37- As much as I love having long hair, I hate how long it takes to wash and dry it 
38- So 9/10 times I will just leave it to dry naturally so it is nice and wavey the next morning 
39- After dinner I never eat a pudding or a dessert 
40- I have a dog called Deefa and she is a black cocker spaniel 
41- My bed is my escape from everything 
42- my friends my older sister and her friends and family don't call me Diza. They call me Dizzy or Diz 
42- I have had two rabbits called Fluffy and Tiger 
43- I've had four hamsters 
44- At my house we have to parrots 
45- I always cry at sad films or sad parts in TV programs 
46- I have been to 3 concerts I went to one direction in 2012&2013 and I've seen the vamps in 2013
47- Lion king is my favorite Disney film 
48- I am a smiley person at school I hardly ever show if I'm sad or down I'm always smiling or try to be 
49- Tigers are my favorite wild animal 
50- I am only 5ft 5 and a half. That half counts!

What to do when you are ill...

So by the title of this post you can guess I'm ill. Yeah it's a new record been at school for three weeks and I'm already ill. I have a cold, I know it doesn't sound that bad but when I get a cold it gets really bad and I get really ill. But I went to school on Thursday feeling fine, got home Thursday and felt kind of ill like I had a cold coming along. Friday I woke up with a blocked nose and a sore throat. Great. So I went to school and felt worse and worse as the school day went on, at lunch I felt so ill and I was swaying in place, so I went to the office and signed out. Apparently as I was walking I was swaying and walking all over. Now I don't remember any of that. So from going to the office and getting into my mums car is just a blur I do not remember anything. 
So to help anyone that is ill I have complied a list of this to do when your ill: 

1: Sleep it's all you feel like doing when you are ill so it makes sense to sleep and it helps your body fight off the cold 
2: Eat now I know you won't feel like it but it's good to eat. Preferably fruit like oranges as they contain vitamin c which is good for you. 
3: Drink water again it's good for you. But if you are like me and you don't like water then try flavored water 
4: Read it gives you something to do whilst your ill and it's takes your mind off it. So you might read a book, I'm reading the hunger games again, or you might want to read magazines,in read teen now and heat. 
5: Watch TV again it's some thing to do whilst your ill 
6: Sleep some more 
7: Now I've done this all weekend stay in your PJs your not going any where so there is no need to get changed 
8: Mope and complain I actually haven't done this, this time but I usually do. My mum gets annoyed with me as it is all I normally do
9: Text friends, if you've had the day off school catch up on what you missed 
10: Go on Twitter Facebook YouTube and Instagram, and catch up on what is going on 
11: final thing again is SLEEP!! 

So hopefully after doing all of these you are feeling slightly better if not take cold and flu tablets these help they make you feel so much better. They last four hours and you feel so much better!

What's in my school bag

Hi everyone, 

So as I mentioned in my last post I'm not back at school so I thought why not do a what's in my school bag (and I procrastinating about doing homework) 

So here we go


This is my bag that i take to school, I've just switched back to this bag actually as it fits more stuff in it
The bag is from accessorize and it was £32 I think 


In the left hand pocket I have my bus pass holder which holds my bus pass and my student discount card 
This was again from accessorize but I got it 3 years ago so I'm not sure if this still sell this exact one but I think it was £5 

In the right hand pocket I have hand sanitizer, my head phones and my house keys,



And then in the main section I have my lunch and a bottle of water but I forgot to take a photo of them 
And my glasses again I forgot. 
The first thing I pulled out was my pencil case 
My pencil case was from WHSmiths and it was £4 I think 

Then I pulled out my English book and folder 
We got given the book by our teacher (the yellow one) and I can't remember where I got my folder from 

The next thing I pulled out were my two English books we are studying. I have two different teachers and they are both doing a different topic
I ordered these off amazon and can't remember the price 

Then I pulled out my health and social care text book which has all 3 units we are doing in it
I could find a copy anywhere so I brought my copy from my teacher for £10 

I then pulled out my history textbooks again we have two teacher one is teaching Britain and the other is teaching Russia 
Both of these I got off amazon again and I can't remember how much they were again



I then pulled out my history and health folder, sometimes this will go in my bag and other times I would carry it 
I got this folder from WHSmiths and it was £4.99 

I then pulled out my psychology folder which again I would carry sometimes and others have it in my bag 
It is a lever arch folder and it was again from WHSmiths and I think it was £6 but I'm not to sure 


The last thing I pulled out was my notepad which has some homework I'm completing written on it 
My notepad again from WHSmiths was £3 I think 


So that's all that is in my bag. I would have my phone in there but I was taking my pictures on there, so sorry if the photos are bad and the lighting is really bad. I will make sure it is better next time

Bit of a ramble

Hi guys 

So I got home from school and did all my homework and got that out the way and now I'm in the mood to blog … but I have no idea what to write about so this should be fun

So last week I started sixth form which if you didn't know is education for people who are aged 16-18, it's like college I guess. So ive been adjusting to going back to school again which isn't nice after you've been going to bed at midnight and waking up whenever, to now getting up at 6:30 and being unable to fall sleep. Going into sixth form is a massive jump from GCSE as if you don't keep on to of all your work then your lost basically. I've already rewritten notes and got stressed out and had a little cry and even thought about dropping out. But I've stayed and I'm now enjoying it, as part of being in 16+ we have to do a community placement and for one of the lessons I'm taking you have to get a placement as well and lucky for me my placement counts for both of them!! So for 16+ we have to get our own text books, we will get told in a lesson that for homework we need to get a textbook and read 3 chapters of it and its due in for next week, the only place you can find the textbooks is on amazon, so my mu has ordered all of my books for me and we are starting to panic slightly as I need them this week and none of them have arrived. Yeah the school has copies in the library but they have all been taken out! So I have no idea what to do :( 


So last weekend was the victory show, this is a bunch of war and battle reenactment and they have planes flying over such as the spitfire and the Vulcan. The down side is the event cost at least £22 pounds to get in per person, I've been into the event once and it was amazing and the best thing ever. But the good thing is my grandparents house is opposite the field the event is held in. So me my mum and her partner all went to my grandparents to watch the planes fly over and we had a BBQ and it was amazing. It's something we do every year and it bring my grandparents, my cousin and her partner and mum and I all together and we have an amazing weekend! But this year my mums boyfriend decided to turn it into a competition, as we take photos of the planes as they fly over, he decided to give a trophy to the person who had the best photo, and certificates to the people who took the most and the least photos and the person who got the worst photo. We took between us 5600 photos and at least 1400 of them are mine (oops)

The Disney Tag

I was watching Gary C's video he did with Petesjams on YouTube and I wanted to do the same tag but as a YouTube video so here we go..

1- A scene in any Disney movie you wish you could experience? 
I wish I could experience the scene in tangled where they are on the boat watching the lanterns. I just think it would be amazing. 

2- An unforgettable experience/moment you've had at the parks
I have never been to Disney land :( 

3- What non-Disney song(s) remind you or brings back memories of Disney and/or the parks? 
Another World by One Direction because to me Disney movies like take you away from reality in a sense. 

4- When was the first time you went to a Disney park? 
I've never been so never 

5- If you could chose any if the characters to be your best friend, who would you chose? 
I'm going it say either Simba from lion king or tinkerbell

6- Who are you favourite Disney princesses?
I would say Belle from beauty and the beast but is she a princess? 

7- Name a scene/moment in any Disney movie that never fails to make you cry? 
In lion king when simba's dad dies I cry every single time 

8- What is the first Disney film you remember watching? 
Mines the lion king and that maybe why I'm so obsessed with it 

9- What is your favourite Disney movie?
Lion king! 


So that's the Disney tag, from doing this I've realised I may have a slight obsession with the lion king, but I'm not comparing.

My life in letters

Hi guys so this is my second post in my own blog, so I guessing you either came from the jessanddiza blog once you read that post, or you just stumbled across my blog some how. Either way welcome to my blog. 

Since you don't know a lot about me I've decided to do the 'my life in letters' I saw this floating around on YouTube do I've decided to do a blog post on it...



A-  Allergies, I have so weird allergies such as apples and cherries 
B- Books,I read a lot so therefore I have a lot of books 
C- Cheerleader,I am a cheerleader have been for 3 yearsb
D- Dog, I have a dog called Deefa 
D- Dizzy, my nickname from school everyone in my tutor group called me it 
E- Emotional, I cry very easily, and that's not a good thing, like if a friend is crying i will most likely start crying as well 
F- Family, I have a big family and I'm a family person, I like being around my family 
G- Girl, I am one 
H- Hugs, I just love hugs 
I- Imaginative, I have loads of ideas for blog posts 
J- Jelly, I like jelly 
K- Kind, I think of other people before myself 
L- Lion King, is in my opinion the best Disney film 
M- Movies, I love watching movies 
N- Nice, I'm a nice caring person 
O- Overthink, I over think things a lot 
P- Psychology, is one of the subjects I'm looking forward to taking in a-levels 
Q- Quiet, I am a very quiet person until I get to know you

U- Umbrella, I always carry one in my bag as the weather is very unpredictable

W- Winner, I have two cheerleading trophies from competitions that we have won
X- Xtra lovely!! My mum wrote this one so I have in idea 
Y- Y  cause I can, again no idea 
Y- Young, I am young 
Z- Zebra, this was the only one I could think of
